The Parent-Teacher Advisory Group (PTAG) of the Elementary School for the Arts & Academics (ESAA) is a group of the school’s parents, teachers and administrators.  PTAG exists to promote student learning and school identity.  This group will serve as a collaborative partnership on school operations and initiatives.

In the belief that teachers and parents are partners in children’s education, PTAG will:

• Promote timely communications between teachers and parents;
• Strengthen ESAA’s identity through ongoing explanation and demonstration of the school’s philosophy and pedagogy to parents and the broader community;
• Initiate and promote school events to engage the ESAA community;
• Collaborate with school staff and community on policies and practices deemed to enhance student learning.
